We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Python Developer in
our New York City office. In this position, you will work with our
product and engineering managers to enhance the commercial products and
applications that make up GP Energy Management's delivery platforms.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to define the systems
and processes that drive the energy industry. You will have a critical
impact on new business opportunities, and will be responsible for
projects ranging from pure technology to data analytics within our
profit center.

This position is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your experience in
full-stack development. You will work directly with the Director of
Software Engineering and will be relied upon to provide and implement
creative input and enhancement improvements.

This job might be for you if:

You have a BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Physics, Math, or related work experience.
You have at least 2 to 4 years of development experience, with a year or
more being in Python.
You feel at home on the command line in Linux based operating systems
You have had some experience working with Django and writing HTML and
JavaScript.
You are comfortable writing SQL and working with relational databases.
You have strong communication skills, a passion to learn, and an ability
to work well with people at all levels of an organization.
Also, if you are comfortable handling a fluid and demanding work
environment, which often coincides with a startup environment, than this
will be a great position for you.
As a team, we value creativity and a strong work ethic. You must have
the ability to work well in a team, as well as autonomously.
It would be great if you have worked with at least some of the following
- AWS, git, NumPy, jQuery, PostgreSQL.
