It just has been bothering me, there are some classic collaberation and learning medium avalaible that is not facebook, bottorent or wikipedia.

I'm often in the #liu channel but there are channes for everthing from Oracle to C#. it is like having 24/7 live tech support

here is a link but it is likely built into you email client. You just need a feed. LIU used to have one. I use panix for access.
and then there is this mailing list. But there are other mailing lists as well, on almost all programing languages. People meet and drink liquor and program in their favorite languages and platforms in groups with mailing lists...
even without meetup...
