NYC needs to have an MTA passanger Bill of Rights
It has taken over 2 hours to get from Midwoood to Crown Heights today
and it has routinely taken over 2.5 hours now to get from the Brooklyn
to the Bronx
1) Any trip ove 20 minutes longer over the scheduled time is refunded
twice the fare on the OMNY card in additiont any loss of wages or
economic damage do to the MTA's negigence
2) Any trip where cars are in an unsanitary condition is refunded at 2X
the fare. They can not smell putridly, or have urine, rates, fecal
matter, or filth in the cars when they leave the terminal stations
3) Passangers have a right to have a trip without being panhandled
or have the right to be reimbursed for their ride a 2x the fare
4) Passangers have the right to clean stations without rats and the
department of health should shut down any station with a rat problem
5) Passangers that the right to ride without suffering from vaping fumes
and the overwhelming oder of Marijuana. Individuals that smell of
Marijuanna or Liquor will be excluded and expelled from the system.
6) Passangers have the right ride the system without be comfronted by
animals that are not caged in the system or they are entitled to 2x the
fare refund
7) Passangers have the right to right the system without contending with
Bicycles, Stollers, Motorized Bicycles, and excessive bags and trash and
will be refunded 2x the fare for each instance.
8) The City of New York will establish a court to expeiate these claims.
The MTA is charges to quickly and effiencetly ajudicate these claims
without any arduous economic or time contraint on the riders. A verbal
sworn complaint is suffienct proof of any of these events and the MTA is
to pay immeditely.
