She is a radicalized bigot and needs to be removed from the staff.
CRAP she writes. This was a coverage of the words of omar el akkad which she left on the page without commentary:
I had just moved to the U.S., but if you grow up in the Middle East, half of the things you see on TV are American. The music is American. The highest volume of stuff in your life is American. But this is not a book about America, and I have to make the case that even though the book is called American War, ****it’s about the universality of revenge and the idea that anybody subjected to enough injustice and violence can become unjust and violent themselves.**** At the same time it was necessary to set the book in America, albeit in an invented one. Growing up in the Middle East, or growing up in a certain skin color, ethnicity, or religion, you become used to the idea that if somebody is going to represent someone who looks like you, they’re either going to be the “Good Muslim,” the “Bad Muslim,” or the “Fruit Vendor Whose Fruit Stall Gets Destroyed In a Car Chase.” But it rarely happens the other way around. [In the book] coasts are gone due to climate change and there are drones in the sky. It was interesting to turn the table that way and see what kind of story would come about from taking these things that are applied in one direction, and applying them in the other.
This is what she wrote from the interview without rebutal. It is an excuse to kill Jews, it is an Islamic Dawa, and it is unethical and wrong.
Jews emerged from the Camps of Poland after the Holocaust and NEVER took out vengence against the very neighbors who sent their families to the cemeratiras. Instead, they pretty much when home were the Muslims responded with more genocidal violence.
SHe writes Islamic-Fascist informed and inspired CRAP.
She wrote: These videos have thousands of views. These journalists have followers, many of whom I know, and it’s heartening to see familiar handles in the list. “Just know that you are not alone,” a friend wrote to me in mid-October. As a Palestinian American, that’s how I’ve felt for much of my life. Alone in witnessing, in trying desperately to communicate what’s really going on. My parents emigrated from Nablus in the late ’70s, first to California and then to D.C. I spent my childhood summers visiting Jordan and the West Bank. In the West, I’ve been surrounded by decades of talking points that obscure history and humanity. Decades of labels and terminology like “terrorist” and “the right to defend itself” and “the only democracy in the Middle East.” Decades of unwavering support for our obliteration.
That is crap. Israel is the ONLY democracy in the middle-east and the videos which she honors are the directly result of an attempt to cause a real genocide against the Jewish people ***IN THERE HOMELAND***. Given her way Jewish blood would be spilt everywhere and the attack on October 7th reminded us AGAIN exactly what this rage looks like.
She just leaves these facts out. Like all the other violence in Israel, which is all the homeland of Jews going back millium before Islam even came into existance, its root cause is hatred towards Jews and anyone non-Islamic actually, and to kill them outright. Oh sure, they will take a few of us in our homeland, as long as they economically deprived, left starving and begging, and without policial power and don't mind the random execution while they Islamisize everything from the burial place of Abraham and how fathers, to the very temple mount... but to live in our land in real freedom? Now that requires a "resistence" and mass murder.
FUCK THAT. I'm sick of women like this try to kill me and my family.
She also wrote in another article:
Hence their foresight in establishing Article V of the Constitution, which, to me, exemplifies the beauty of the American democratic process. I imagine that were James Madison alive today, he might think that the Bill of Rights had been manipulated to serve the interests of various groups. Given that the threat of government tyranny, one of the original motivations behind the second amendment, is no longer significant, he might feel that it is now being used as a political weapon.
That is JUST WRONG and total dribble. She seemed to have never actually read the Federalist papers but one thing is CERTAIN and OBVIOUS, especially after the COVID-19 lockdowns, is that government is by FAR the greatest threat to human rights and we see this here in the US and across the globe. And now we have camera and spyware tracking the entire population and Edward Snowden in exhile in Russia.
Should I carry on? This women does not belong educating young people. It is her GOAL to radicalize them and she bluntly says so in her writing.
The saddest thing is that she she is so infused with bigorty she fails to understand that as a Lesbian raising a child with a "wife" that Hamas would flatly execute her, if she would not had previously been executed in an honor killing by her very own family.
It is sick.
Remove her from the young people that she is "educating" into a false narative and with the GOAL of radicalizing them.
PS
She writes: "In a video from October 4, days before the war began, Bisan is by the beach, upbeat bistro music playing in the background. There is footage of her riding a Jeep through the desert, of Motaz dancing at a graduation, of Plestia sitting beside an electric fireplace in Gaza City, smiling." - That sure sounds like an open air prision. Words have the power to distort and forment hatred as much as they can be used to clarify and elucidate.
She knows this, BTW. She quoted : "What I learned from ISIS recruiters is that they are using words and statements made during the election campaign and taking them out of context in order to recruit people."
That is Islamic Dawa in action. She is just too infused with bigotry and her Islamic upbrining to close the circle.
