Across the Country =EF=BB=BF The landscape of numismatic and retail crime =
has changed and continues to escalate in epidemic proportions across the co=
untry. Today, robberies, thefts, postal and shipping offenses along with eB=
ay and social media platform fraud plague the numismatic community. Organiz=
ed groups such as Chilean and Romanian gangs along with smaller individuali=
zed groups are becoming more deliberate, aggressive, and recently more viol=
ent. The action by these criminals poses significant safety concerns and of=
ten times extreme financial injuries to dealers and collectors. NCIC contin=
ues to be at the forefront in combating numismatic crime and continues to p=
rovide investigative and educational resources to the numismatic community =
and all levels of law enforcement. The data received by NCIC on a daily bas=
is allows for the analysis and identification of current criminal trends an=
d patterns and the quick dissemination of information to the numismatic com=

has changed and continues to escalate in epidemic proportions across the co=
untry. Today, robberies, thefts, postal and shipping offenses along with eB=
ay and social media platform fraud plague the numismatic community. Organiz=
ed groups such as Chilean and Romanian gangs along with smaller individuali=
zed groups are becoming more deliberate, aggressive, and recently more viol=
ent. The action by these criminals poses significant safety concerns and of=
ten times extreme financial injuries to dealers and collectors. NCIC contin=
ues to be at the forefront in combating numismatic crime and continues to p=
rovide investigative and educational resources to the numismatic community =
and all levels of law enforcement. The data received by NCIC on a daily bas=
is allows for the analysis and identification of current criminal trends an=
d patterns and the quick dissemination of information to the numismatic com=
