and one more thing starting in Perl 5.8.0 (July 18, 2002) minor
revision numbers increases break backward compatibility unless you
specify a version number with "use " it also by default
does not run in the latest version compatibility mode so another words
if you have Perl 5.30 installed it will probably be running by default
in 5.16 compatibility mode.
There is also an announcement that doesn't surprise me
https://www.perl.com/article/announcing-perl-7/ in reality we should
be already on Perl version 9 or10 if you go by significant breaking
changes.
