I have never looked at Raku, but I am not completely surprised. Just the length of time it took for Raku to slowly evolve seemed to beg for a breach. Origianlly, there was supposed to be a perl VM as part of perl6 and does this mean that the specification of perl versions is no long part of the languague specification?
