At the end of the day the ANA is a trade organization that runs some
fairly successful conventions. Its other functions are secondary. They
don't care about the blog or how any individuals are treated. You're
not a big time dealer so you don't rank.
Aside from that, it is true that it seems the hobby attracts some
unsavory personality traits/types.
I remained off the grid of the coin collecting community for many years
because because... as a rule, I don't like these people.
