SUBJECT | Subject: [Hangout - NYLXS] [Health] My GNU Health merely crashes...
|
Hi,
This morning I was looking for a FLOSS -- or at least Open Source -- stand-alone, non-networked personal health record keeper -- preferably one that would import and merge various CCDA files that I seem to be accumulating from different sites. (I'm new to CCDA et al.) So, I installed MyGnuHealth, since it seems to be the only thing remotely like what I'm seeking. My current setup is:
* Distribution: Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS
* Kernel: Linux rama 5.11.0-7620-generic #21~1626191760~20.04~55de9c3-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jul 21 20:31:55 UTC x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
* Python: 3.8.10 (default, Jun 2 2021, 10:49:15) [GCC 9.4.0] on linux
* Shiboken and PySide2: 5.14 (5.14.0-1~exp1ubuntu5)
* MyGNUHealth: 1.0.4
I was able to enter my name, height and a key / password, but when I click any of the three icons in Health Tracker, it just quietly dies with a segfault:
> $ mygnuhealth > Initializing MyGNUHealth version 1.0.4 > Directory exists... skipping > Found myGNUHealth configuration file.. skipping > Verifying MyGNUHealth Database..... > MyGNUHealth DB exists.. skipping > DB is initialized > Segmentation fault (core dumped) > $
(The Book of Life shows me an icon to add a new entry, but since I don't have anything I want to add, I haven't tried it.)
The documentation says that this mailing list is the place to report bugs... _______________________________________________ Hangout mailing list Hangout-at-nylxs.com http://lists.mrbrklyn.com/mailman/listinfo/hangout
