SUBJECT | Subject: [Hangout - NYLXS] [artix-general] Package dependencies
|
Hi all,
I am wondering why packages that need a $pkgbase-{runit, s6, openrc} package don't depend on something like a $pkgbase-service.
Taking iwd as an example it would only be needed to add depends=("$pkgbase-service") in the iwd PKGBUILD and to add provides=('iwd-service') in the openrc, s6 and runit packages.
That way people would be aware of the need of such a package without having to search for it and without being a difficult solution. -- Franck STAUFFER
