We're fast approaching a stage in the Perl 7 Project where we need more=20 people looking at the code base and the changes we've made.=C2=A0 What we'r= e=20 looking for is not so much "code reviewing" as "code understanding,"=20 that is, understanding exactly what we're trying to do and then looking=20 at the code to determine whether we've done what we set out to do.
To be a "code understander" you would need:
* Familiarity with Perl 5 -- which, I would suspect, the overwhelming=20 majority of readers of this list already have;
* Basic familiarity with git and an account on github.com; but ...
* Familiarity with the Perl core distribution is helpful but not essential.
If you have free time, particularly over the balance of this month and=20 next, and would like to make a tangible contribution to the forward=20 development of Perl, please ping me off-list and I'll go into greater=20 detail.
