With reference to this free class by Coursera on Corona Virus case
tracing, I would strongly suggest that everyone in the healthcare system
should take this relatively short class on contact tracing. There is
several reasons to take this class.
First, this class sets up the basic lexicon that the government and
healthcare system is using when talking about the virus spread and the
qualifications for ending the locked down and the health departments
thinking on how it approaches the problem. This makes it easier to ask
relavant questions, and to communicate with the department and the
government.
Secondly, it is important to understand what the states are actually
doing to do tracking. This will much improve patient to healthcare
provider about the actual experiences people are having in its contact
with the healthcare system, government and the indivudal and families.
Thirdly, it helps you detangle some of your thinking on this matter. By
this I don't mean end your objections to or support of government
actions, but to organize these thoughts on a platform that provides
better structure to a lot of different objections, knowledge, and bytes
of information that you carry around, and help formulation an easier to
recall and access working body of knowledge.
