This is so fustrating. Jom Tennant was a SAINT of a human being who was
much more than just a paleontologist. He never spent a minute of his
life without worrying about the public good and fighting to make real
change in the world by showing how to democratize real research and
stimulating the partiicpation in education and research for everyone,
regardless of race, creed, gender, or economic disadvantage.
He was a personal friend who I spoke to often when I was going my
research and my Masters Degree. He was warm, plesant and he represented
the next generation of revolutionary advocates for a Free Society, much
like Richard Stallman, Aaron Swartz, Lawrense Lesig and others.
He loss is truly profound.
The circumstances of his death is disatisfying, to say the least. This
is terrible news on what has been a terrible last 3 months.
A great light has been lost for all society. People of this kind of
vision are few and need to be nutured.
