His opinion doesn't matter more than anyone elses and any concerns
should be addressed through oficial channels. There are laws, you know,
against discrimination, for one thing.
If the maintainers don't like the GNU leadership, they should either
conform to GNU requirments or leave. No one in GNU asks you to pledge
loyalty, but maintainers are held to standards of governance, just like
any other organization. If you find Richard so disgusting that you
can't work with him, then there are many other places to volunteer time.
You are not a slave.
But to say you are opening up a GNU process for change in GNU policy and
leadership by doing a hostile takeover of GNU is FLATOUT IMMORAL and
bullying. It is not being recieved with roses and cheers.
