Censorship is not when people don’t want to read something, and is not about not being annoyed. If people don’t want to read you, that’s not censorship, and when you send them mail netherless that’s spam.
You should at least allow them to unsubscribe from your list, because that means they’re clearly not interested.
Actually subscribing someone else without consent is spam anyway, if you wanted the same effect (giving the ability of being read, however aggressive and unkind you are) without spam, you could simply send *one* private to all the people you do or did subscribe to your mailing-list saying “this is an uncensored mailing-list that copy everything that’s censored, here how to subscribe”.
Actually that’d be a really good solution to all this. Then you could still be read, and people would stop complaining about insults and spam. Just stop cc-ing people who said you to stop doing so (this is civic behavior), and don’t subscribe people without consent.
Then, you could listen to the censors of gnu-misc-discuss about how to be kind, because they’re willing to moderate you each time you are not. And each time you want not to be, you post to your mailing-list instead of theirs, so you relieve them from that hard work. You may then start posting only what you know they would approve (I believe this is a pretty wide amount of reasonable things they would) to their list, and they’d likely accept you again.
They’re also friend of rms trying to defend him (yet abiding by his ideas) so please don’t make their life difficult. _______________________________________________ Hangout mailing list Hangout-at-nylxs.com http://lists.mrbrklyn.com/mailman/listinfo/hangout
