why I understand your sentiment, its never proven to be a practical problem to replace coders. Coders grow like weeds. There might be a billion of them around the globe. Aside from that, nobody is ever more important than the team... that is Axiomatic for all organizaions and all conditions.
If the whole French consistuency left tomorrow, it would just provide more oppurutunities for others, including folks from South East Asia, and China.
The only irreplacable element of GNU is Richard Stallman's stewartship..
