It so happens that in this case I did read it and there is nothing in it that I remotely violated. And cyberstalking, is really quite ludicrous.
The sections suppordely relevantare as follows:
<everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, race, or religion. >>
Without a doubt I never violated any of these.
<Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organizers/management.>>
Nope, I didn't do anything like this either.
<gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, race, religion, the use or display of sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.>>
I see a huge repeating focus here on sex, which is disappointing to see, FWIW, but I never disucss sex at meetings, and certainly never using photos and images, nor do I touch anyone, or give anyone sexual attention, welcome or not.
My entire interaction at the last NYLUG meeting included, playing with the Digital Ocean web portal to see how my museum pages looked, talking to David about his work, asking a question about namespace during the Q/A, chewing the fat and talking about the RMS events, and the disccuions about the Minsky affair and the appropriateness of the Emac Virgin bit that Stallman does on occasion at the dinner with Brian, paying a few extra dollars for someone who was short cash for dinner, saying hello to Hanna, and asking where Robert Memes was.
Its not like I ever made these refences. I find them, personally, childish.
Honestly, this email is so inapropriate and libelous, that I have to question Brian's emotional stability.
