GriffinWorx’s eBay StartUp Cup
If you’re like me and one day of reveling in entrepreneurship won’t be
enough, join us again April 28-29 for the Extreme Build-a-Business
Weekend. The Extreme Build-a-Business Weekend kicks off the eBay StartUp
Cup, a 5-month accelerator that culminates with the awarding of $17,500
in cash prizes. StartUp Cup is the creation of GriffinWorx
, one of the world’s largest business building
non-profit organizations.
Last year almost 100 businesses were represented in the inaugural NYC
StartUp Cup . We’ll be here all day Saturday and
Sunday of the Extreme Build-a-Business Weekend; please do consider
joining us to see what entrepreneurs are building in NYC.
If you have a business idea or a business that is less than a year old,
consider applying to participate . The deadline
has been extended to this coming Monday, April 16.
There is also still an opportunity to participate as a mentor, should
you or any of your colleagues be interested. In over 10 years of running
programs around the globe, GriffinWorx has found that mentoring is a key
component to the success of young business builders. There is no
previous experience required to be a mentor.
Mentoring Orientation will take place on Saturday, April 28th from 8:00
am to 10:00 am.
Designated Business Mentoring will take place on Saturday, April 29th
from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, April 29th from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
To express your interest in mentoring, please fill out the short form
found HERE .
Happy weekend!
