Overview
You are an experienced DevOps professional with experience in
development and operations. Ideally, you have experience in security or
at least an interest in learning more about security. You will be
developing tools/services for enterprise clients to automate security
services.
This is an opportunity to work with leading Infrastructure and Security
technologies and Fortune 500 customers while you participate in the
cloud infrastructure team and work closely with project management,
support, and development. You will automate policy management and
configuration, building/integrating APIs for security tools, add
security tests to deployment pipelines as well as design and build
resilient server configurations.
You are a technically savvy individual with strong interpersonal skills
who enjoys variety and complexity. Our client offers a prestigious
brand, a collaborative environment and the opportunity to interface with
some of the best technology talent in North America.
This is a 12-month contract. There is the potential of permanent roles
in future.
What you need to have:
• 3+ years' experience in web application development in Linux
environments (preferably Python or Ruby)
• Experience with infrastructure (understand the physical environment,
virtual machine, firewall)
• Understanding of security concepts for design stage of development
(anti malware, patch management tools, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
It would be great if you also had:
• Ansible, Jenkins and / or Puppet
• Front end experience - JS Angular
• Scripting on the operating system
• VMWare
• Virtualization
Please note: Candidates need to be authorized to work in Canada for the
duration of the contract and available for interviews in Montreal.
