I am testing a new webserver. The old one was truly terrific and still
works, but the increasing size of images has put to great of strain on
the images gallery and I just really needed to get something better up
and running.
In the process of doing this, I was intending to use Manjaro Ppenrc, but
it has been discontinued. Now they migrated to a new OS called artix,
and they are really cutting their teeth on this. The result is that I
had to create many init.d scrips for opernrc. I had to go to school on
it. Perl needed a complete recompile for modperl and apache 2.4.
Apache 2.4 has an entirely new configuration language. I need to
actually port that in the coming weeks, but at the moment it is using a
compatibility mode.
Mailman was particularly difficult and I'm sure I will be looking any
problems with it. But the fundamentals are up and running on a gigabit
line at http://www3.mrbrklyn.com and images2.mrbrklyn.com
If you guys want to give the gallery especially for a spin
(images2.mrbrklyn.com) I'd appreciate feedback.
