There is no way a non-tracable power surge should take out more than half the system during the rush, let alone, that they are not to be believed anyway. There was no power problem that ConEd ever found and I think the MTA made the whole thing up to CYA. Where I was stuck yesterday was just a few yards from the rail that caused the train to be stuck for hours 3 weeks ago. They are having trouble with their new equipment there. It is a failure, and they refuse to let engineers to run trains, as they had for decades, on sight and sound.
