I'm a Democratic Party voter, so here's my reply to that: Die in a fire.
Voting in a malign and squalid incompetent slumlord who sexually
assaults women (plus his henchman Vice-President Torquemada) was bad
enough, but having his administration be up to its armpits with corrupt
deals with ex-Soviet mafiosi is something I figure even the 41% of
voters who sat on their hands in November aren't going to be able to
ignore. It's going to take years to get to the bottom of that, but
fortunately the FBI is now strongly motivated to keep digging until the
whole goddamned rotten mess is exposed to sunlight.
If the 41% can be motivated to vote in 2018, then the 27.2% of you who
were stupid and self-destructive enough to vote Trump/Pence can be
ignored and go back to their Kremlin-encouraged conspiracy theories and
cease being able to injure my country.
At that point, we can even get rid of the unprecedented GOP gerrymandering
(Project REDMAP) we've suffered since 2010, that you keep pretending
doesn't exist.
If you don't enjoy that possibility, gee, tant pis pour vous. You are
welcome to emigrate, any time.
