How irresponsible and dangerous is it that all air traffic over London,
which is a HUGE European, African and Asian hub to be shut down for 24
hours during a holiday weekend because of a computer glitch. We did not
tolerate this kind of catastrophic calamity even a few short years ago,
and lately everywhere I go, from the NYC Subway to rails, to overseas
flights, to hospital operations has come to a complete standstill
because of computer errors.
How much longer is our love affair with glitzy technology and addiction
to over engineer technology going to last before something truly
civilization altering happens.
