No the dept and deficit are entirely different things. At the end of the budget there is ZERO deficit.
--> Yep, that's what I said- 2 different things. And when you are at the end of a year's budget, but it is only the 8th, 9th or 10th month, you can use that deficit to build your debt.
Not only that but the government doesn't have to borrow to close the deficit. That can print money...
--> Oh yeah and they do- it's another government gift that empowers the little people who have rent and bills and groceries to pay for.
