One of our users was compromised, and her account used for spamming. We stopped that, but SORBS does not delist quickly. We've opened a ticket with them.
Ruben,
FYI- The SORBS is badly broken. There is no reasonable way to contact a human there or get delisted. It is widely believed that SORBS is a scam intended to extract money from ISBs and small businesses, though I'm not sure if that's true (any more, anyway) because they're so inaccessible we haven't even gotten asked for money yet.
The bottom line is that we're unlikely to be removed from SORBS any time soon, even though the spamming incident that triggered the listing was ended shortly after it began, and we've made multiple attempts to delist.
FWIW, I knew this all years ago and forgot it, because SORBS has descended into complete irrelevance - almost nobody uses it anymore. If you can I'd suggest using other channels to suggest to the person you were trying to email that s/he should complain to their ISP that SORBS should not be used.
