the only time that happens is when the popular response is so wild that
congress stands up on its head. The last time that happened was with
Adam Swartz and SOPA and in the end Adam paid the price for that with
his life. When are you going to wake up to the fact that you can not
win these fights with dispassionate arguments and legalize. The lobbies
are too well funded and the apathy just to thick. And now you have all
this fake news acting as noise to the real issues that affect us all.
You go chase your tail. But if you want to actually do something
productive, get on a phone and bitch loudly and follow that up with
several hand written letters...
