yeah I agree. I just decided that since everything is nicely configured for the hardware, that I'd leave it, but instead, I've hit a road block and just this morning, when I realized that I need a new gcc version, that I can't be held hostage to these folks and I need to reinstall an OS that I want. U haven't done it yet. I have to guess with grub what the USB is, and it will take a bit of hacking.
