R U sure you've got that address right ? All I see is a foreboding brick building in a desolate wasteland part of Brook-a-leen. Sign over graffiti covered metal door mentions a bakery, jailbars on the single window.
You wouldn't send a Staten Island farmboy into a situation where he might mysteriously vanish, would you ?
On the other hand, I see the Sprintzenhaus33 "enormous bierhall is nearby.
PS: this also conflicts with your other Perl social event tonite.

I wanted to invite you all to intend an awesome *free* event tonight at a

*Register to attend the event here:*
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-internet-of-very-bad-no-
good-things-tickets-31934556117
*Description for the event:*
*The Internet of Very Bad, No Good Things*
*At A/D/O *
*29 Norman Ave, Brooklyn NY 11222*
*FEBRUARY 13th, 2017*
*PANEL: 6-8pm*
*Featuring:*
Susan Cox-Smith, Principal, Changeist
Greg Lindsay, journalist
What do an army of Russian Twitter trolls, a hotel ransoming BitCoins to
keycard-hijacking hackers, and a social media CEO pondering a run for the
presidency in 2020 have in common? They all sit in the speculative sliver
of a Venn diagram comprised of the Internet of Things, “surveillance
capitalism” as practiced by the stacks, and governments unafraid to flex
their muscles as far as “the cyber” is concerned.
Reflecting the A/D/O Design Academy’s theme of “Utopia vs. Dystopia,” this
special event is a public discussion moderated by journalist Greg Lindsay
with Susan Cox-Smith, Principal, Changeist to discuss the darker scenarios
of the Internet of Things, and the steps researchers, designers,
technologists, strategists, policy makers and citizens can take to think
more clearly, comprehensively and long-term about how we create a brighter
future for all.
