AN EVENING FOR EDUCATORS WITH DR. BäRBEL HöNISCH
FRIDAY, MARCH 10 | 5–7 PM
Join us for a special evening for educators with Dr. Bärbel Hönisch,
associate professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental
Sciences at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University.
Dr. Hönisch’s presentation will introduce techniques applied in the
field of paleoceanography, with a particular focus on past variations in
atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, ocean acidification, and climate
change over the past 60 million years of Earth's history.
A short wine and cheese reception will follow the presentation and
provide an opportunity to network with colleagues and other professionals.
This event is free for educators.
Complimentary tickets and advanced reservations required.
