Quoting Ruben Safir (ruben-at-mrbrklyn.com):

Here're some more of the eggs being broken to make said omelets:
According to attorneys, Detainees at O'Hare [Airport, Chicago]
include an 18 month old and a newborn, _both U.S citizens_.

(These various illegally detained US citizens and Green Card holders are
invariably kept for long periods in handcuffs, for no reason other than
mindless, petty fascism.)
Five-year-old child was ripped from his in-transit Iranian mother at
Dulles and kept isolated for several hours.

CBP officials at Dulles are asking _US citizens_ with dual citizenship
if they are Christians -- gosh, it's not like those questions have
_ever_ been bad omens for the Jewish people, right, Ruben? -- and being
detained without cause or explanation.
One US citizen's _US passport was seized_ without explanation; he was told
he'd get it back in two weeks. He was questioned about his activity on
Internet social media, and (likewise) asked if he were a Christian.
CBP at both O'Hare and Los Angeles International are now detaining
_Hispanic_, e.g., Mexican citizen, holders of US Green Cards.
So, apparently we're now going after people guilty of attempting to
travel while brown, too.

Oh, and relevant to that 'Are you a Christian?' questioning, Trump held
an interview over the weekend on Christian Broadcasting Network, in
which he forthrightly stated that the aim of the executive order is
_specifically_ to favor Christians (illegally):

Travelers with lawful visas who commenced travel long before Donald
Joffrey Trump's refugee travel ban (which he signed on Holocaust
Remembrance Day) and arrived not having heard about it are nonetheless
being charged with wilfully violating US immigration law and banned from
the US for five years for this (alleged) violation. Whiskey Tango
Foxtrot?
Man who worked for years as a translator for the US Army in Iraq just
got through selling all family possessions and they all got ready for
their new lives and jobs in the US, and bought plane tickets for $5000,
and got stiffed by Trump at the last minute, and now the whole family
remains at risk of being murdered for their loyalty to the US.

In other news, Trump said he preferred to meet the UK's Princes William
and Harry, instead of Prince Charles -- perhaps because he's for years
been on record as boasting that he'd have 'nailed' Charles's late wife
Princess Diana, and that he'd like to sell naked photos of Charles's current
wife Duchess Kate.

Keep it classy, Donnie-Bob!
Angela Merkel had to _explain the Geneva Convention_ to Donnie-Bob.

Donnie-Bob has _explicitly_ endorsed the use of torture, and doesn't
even try to call it something else, but just says he approves of
plain old _torture_.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/live-blog/2017-01-27/donald-trump-theresa-may-news-conference
'General Mattis has stated publicly that he does not necessarily
believe in torture or waterboarding or however you want to define it
—- enhanced interrogation I guess would be a word that a lot of -—
words that a lot of people would like to use. I don’t necessarily
agree, but I would tell you that he will override because I’m giving
him that power. I happen to feel that it does work. I’ve been open
about that for a long period of time. But I am going with our
leaders. And we’re going to — we’re going to win with or without,
but I do disagree.
So, Donnie-Bob wants to be officially a war criminal, and doesn't even
lie about it. So much for the Convention Against Torture that Congress
ratified in 1994 after former President Reagan urged it in a letter
describing torture as 'an abhorrent practice unfortunately still
prevalent in the world today'.
(Once again, Donnie-Bob breaks new ground in moral damnation and being a
revolting and despicable human being.)
