Turnout for the inauguration itself was way, way down -- and lower than
the turnout for the Women's March on Washington. Here are side-by-side

Anyway, wow, half a million pissed-off women already showing up to
register their outrage, and Bozo has been soiling the presidency for
only _one day_. Wait until he gets serious about restricting
reproductive rights, defunding Planned Parenthood, etc. He's already
put Tom Price up for Secretary of Health and Human Services (a man who
is firmly opposed to everything his department is for), and has a long
track record of opposing reproductive rights.
That bit in his extremely self-centered, only-I-can-save-you
inauguration speech about 'we are transferring power from Washington,
D.C. and giving it back to you, the people'? That was really funny.
I think the man has real comedic possibilities, given that his 16
Cabinet members collectively own the same amount of wealth as 1/3 of all
Americans.

Mnuncin, by the way, this Goldman Sachs guy you praised because he's
such a brilliant business man (and, don't forget, Trump railed
vehemently _against_ Goldman Sachs for the entirety of his campaign, and
then suddenly dropped that cold and picked Mnuchin for Secretary of the
Treasury)? This guy foreclosed on a 90-year-old woman who got her
paperwork mixed up and was 27 cents short. Yeah, wow, that's really
giving power to the people.

This guy who campaigned on 'draining the swamp' is already achieving the
most corrupt presidency in American history, and he's only one day in.
That's impressive.
Rubin, if you actually believed that 'outsider', 'drain the swamp'
bullshit, _man_ did you get taken.

And, Rubin, in addition to just being roundly annoyed that someone
epically, astonishingly incompetent and tempermentally disastrous ended
up in the highest office in the Executive Branch, here's the thing that
I wonder about: Just a single day of his presidency has motivated a
totally unprecedented number of women to mob D.C. and start getting very
serious about impeding his expected misrule -- and this is a guy who
lashes out against the _tiniest_ perceived insult, who can never let the
tiniest thing go, ever. So, what's he going to be like after a year of
this? Because it all looks to get a whole lot worse from here. The
orange clown is going to go absolutely _nuts_.
By the way, exactly how narcissistic is Trump? Here's the eulogy for
Fred Trump that Donald spoke when he approached his dad's coffin to give a
eulogy. This is every word of it:
My father taught me everything I know. And he would understand what
I’m about to say, I’m developing a great building on Riverside
Boulevard called Trump Place. It’s a wonderful project.
