Who is 'you'? You didn't bother to say.
Really, Ruben, you have the damnest, really terrible netiquette
practices, and my real point, here, is not who but rather how.
You had:

So, impliedly, you Bcc'd some 'you' person, possibly someone at the LIU
Alumni Relations Office, CCing a public posse of people you imagine to be
your groupies.
First of all, Bcc'ing people other than yourself almost never works
well, because of antispam reasons. Second, it's really flippin' rude to
CC a bunch of mailing lists on private mail. You're basically trying
to strongarm your correspondent by appearing to throw the Internet at
him/her. That was always a chump ploy, but it hasn't actually worked in
twenty years except to convince your correspondent that you're an
asshole.
The way to reach the same expanded audience without coming across to
your correspondent as a world-class asshole is _first_ send regular
private mail to your correspondnt, _then_ forward that mail from your
sent mail folder to the large public audience. Both ways of doing it
are rude, but the second has the advantage of the rudeness being not
in-your-face to your target recipient.
Second, having gone to the effort of CCing mailing lists, you didn't
even bother to say what 'promoting' means in this context -- not even to
your (undisclosed) main correspondent. Looking through the LIU Alumni
Relations Office Web pages at http://liu.edu/Alumni/ doesn't reveal any
publicity blurb that I've found in five minutes of looking, so what the
Gehenna are you bloviating on about? A mention in Alumni News that
alumnus Alan R. Adaschik tells us he's self-published a book, so yay
Alan, blah blah blah?
Third, why are you wasting your time playing whack-a-mole with some
crazed anti-ZOG, anti-New World Order, anti-Federal Reserve Christian
Domionist nutjob? Are you aware that you probably gave this
self-published loon more publicity than he'll ever be able to buy from
his parents' basement?
And last, would you kindly, finally, learn how to spell 'Semitic'? It's
really not that difficult, and you can outsource the job to a spelling
checker, which indeed you should have discovered some time over the last
fifty years, too. I mean, if I can spell 'Scandinavian' correctly 99
times out of every 100, I think you should be able to nail 'Semitic' at
least 4 times out of five, nei?
En skam før nasjonene. (A shanda fur die goyim.) Learn to spell,
already -- or at least teach your computer to do it!
