Fortunately, as I explained in private mail a week or so ago, I'm not

I compared the mentality of how things are _rationalized. I said your
reference to Guiliani's repeated and habitual lawlessness as 'law' is
just the way schoolyard bullies and fans Latin American dictators
rationalize: liking a lawless thug because you think he's _your_
lawless thug.
Read it again until you understand it.

I'm unclear on how lawlessness at Gracie Mansion and NYPD addressed
lawlessness in the community. In fact, it didn't.
