I was never in his district, but frankly, that spin that just because it
affects him that is why he changed his mind. It is also spin that safer
streets Diblasio style is "bipartisian" aside which since when did
Hikind change parties? They are not all Democrats?
I have figured out that it is now the State that is doing this, but that
is not the whole story. It was started in the NYC DOT and then OP has a
state jurisdiction, I think because it is part of the states routing
system, like I95 etc. I'm not sure. But once it was understood what
was involved, the local politicians object, which is not new. DIBlasio
backed off but the state was now activated and they continue.
And not just that. Have you seen what Kings Highway and 18th street
looks like?
And who the fuck wants the 25 MPH speed limit.
