ADL and Mr. Greenblatt appear to have had quite the difficult balancing act responding to, and commenting on, the Trump candidacy over the past year, as you can see in part on the organisation's official blog, here: http://blog.adl.org/tags/donald-trump
It's been a recurring round, again and again, of 'Gosh, I'm sure you didn't _mean_ to cite all those classic anti-Semitic tropes', and 'Gosh, I hope you aren't owing huge political favours to the half dozen or more virulently anti-Semitic white-nationalist pressure groups that are the backbone of your entire campaign.'
But certainly that's just paranoia speaking. People never change their positions dramatically in politics in just a couple of years for expediency's sake. And Mr. Trump has such a consistent record of keeping his word.
I certainly wouldn't worry. Don't listen to the nay-sayers.
