SeaDream just called me to cancel, so, hey, we're now playing amateur
travel agents and trying to line up a replacement Danube cruise -- the
one from Bucharesti (Bucharest) to Wien (Vienna).
Well, I always wanted to visit Schönbrunn Palace and the site of
Trajan's Bridge over the Danube
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trajan%27s_Bridge). Now, seems I might
get to do both.
SeaDream are not being chintzy about this: We get full rebooking on
almost any cruise through the end of 2018, plus all our current travel
expenses incurred for the cancelled cruise (airfare, hotels, etc.)
reimbursed, plus an additional complimentary 7-day cruise. So, although
the 3-day and 7-day cruises got cancelled, we get three 7-day cruises in
exchange, plus our expenses picked up. Sweet!
