Find out.
$ su - # netstat -ntupl | grep ':53' tcp 0 0 198.144.195.186:53 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 19694/named tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:53 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 19694/named udp 0 0 198.144.195.186:53 0.0.0.0:* 19694/named udp 0 0 127.0.0.1:53 0.0.0.0:* 19694/named # exit
Port 53 is DNS nameservice.
By the way, why not replace systemd with a better init system? http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Debian/openrc-conversion.html
