I'm confused. Where on either of those links is there any catalogue of open source APKs for Android?
The first link would seem to be a Canoical puff-piece about some third-party product lines of not-very-good smartphones preloaded with Ubuntu for Phones. The second link would seem to be Tizen, a not-very-successful Linux-based OS for smartphones. Neither of them appear to address Android at all, let alone suggest online information about open-source applications for Android.
Also, as you know, I have no interest in smartphones at all, do not own one, don't seek to own one, and don't particularly like Ubuntu or Canonical, Ltd. My interest stems from my Nook Tablet that I recently reflahed with CyanogenMod.
So, basically, I asked if people might suggest places to find good open-source APKs for Android, and you posted two links that are utterly irrelevant to the question and useful only for users of a type of device (smartphones) I deliberately do not own. Did I miss something?
