Senior Developer for a well funded Jerusalem Start Up
As a Senior Backend Developer at this exciting Startup, you will
influence the design and implementation of the backend services of our
mobile photo and video apps. You will be responsible for designing and
developing major components in the infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Write clean, maintainable and testable code, and inspire others to do
just that.
Identify and implement software engineering best practices.
Mentor young developers on the team.
Conduct code reviews.
Requirements
Proven experience of delivering large, successful backend projects.
3+ years of backend development experience (C#/JAVA preferred).
High familiarity with Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud
infrastructure.
Hands on experience with writing scalable systems on the cloud.
Understanding of network protocols such as TCP, IP, HTTP.
Deep knowledge with at least one SQL database (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL
etc.) and noSQL databases.
Several years of hands-on experience working in Linux.
Familiarity with Amazon Redshift - a plus.
Familiarity and hands-on experience with MapReduce - a plus.
University degree in computer science or related field.
