Did anyone else see the expression 'CRC' and think immediately of CRC
Press books like the _CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics_?

_That_ particular CRC is one of those acronyms that long ago stood for
something specific (Chemical Rubber Company), but long ago divorced the
acronym from its origins.
