Oh, great, _so_, since you expressed a polite request well in advance of the specific meeting you wished to attend, that you please be allowed an alternate means of RSVPing, _and_ did so Q}in writing so as to leave a solid record, you should have no trouble whatsoever sending me a copy.
Don't forget to specify which meeting it was, and the record of you being denied admission solely because you didn't RSVP for that meeting via Meetup.
What 'well in advance' means is a judgement call, but two weeks would seem polite and respectful to me -- and my whole goddamned point, Ruben, is that if you want to succeed in practical politics, to sway the uncommitted, if you're dealing with arbitrary stupidity, it's necessary to pointedly be so reasonable and polite that you cannot be just brushed off -- and be able to let other people see that and draw obvious conclusions.
This doesn't mean you win, but the other way means you definitely don't.
I'm expecting 'no', you did nothing like what I asked about.
but go ahead, prove me wrong.
