That's what I said. We use Google Analytics to optimize our site.
DoubleClick is part of Google, and I guess Google routes the analytics
through them.

Is that much different to someone who adds extra people to an email thread
without notifying the original participant?. I value my privacy, too, and
I find what you did to be an invasion of it.
For the record, I view our conversation as private, and object to others
being added to it.
Now, a positive suggestion. Why not create a proxy DNS that redirects
doubleclick.net, google.com, and whatever else to a null server? That way,
you could buy not just from our site, but from every other site on the net
which uses the practices you object to.
