eminker: I no longer have your earlier e-mail, but it came through as a
multipart-alternative mail, and your intended message text was in one of
the several parts, but IIRC not the regular part normally shown to
text-oriented (as opposed to HTML-preferring) readers.
So, your message text _was_ there, as reflected through the mailing
list. It just was in an unusual part of the message where many people
wouldn't think to look for it.
Your most recent message (quoted above) was _not_ formatted as
multipart-alternative, but rather as a single regular 7-bit ASCII
section.
Suggest you look at your saved sent-mail copy of your earlier posting
and see how it's constructed.
