I do not haphazardly share my information with google. They collect far
too much information as it is. Using a cloud service for my personnel
data is a big problem.
Your company, if it respects the privacy of its employees and customers,
and understands the business risk of having its business information on
foreign computer systems which you don't administer yourself, shouldn't
be happy with it either.
I'm not going to acquire a google account and please do not place any of
my information on googles cloud without my permission. It is a breach
of my privacy. As it is, these emails are stored on their systems for 2
years and they search through them, so a certain amount of damage is
already done. Even if you deleted all my email, it wouldn't help.
I really do appreciate your considering me for a position, and when you
can make yourself available without a third party in between, I would
hope you would consider me again. I can be reached by telephone, or
emailed to my email address listed above, which delivers mail to my
residence.
