Previous message: [nylug-talk] RSVP open, Wed Nov 18: Debian to Brewmaster: the alchemy of building SteamOS Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ]
So we got some feedback that the title was confusing.
The new title is as clear as we could make it, "Building SteamOS; a Linux gaming OS for the living room".
As a note, the speaker will be bringing a recently released first generation Steam Machine with him to the talk. (Steam Machines, which run SteamOS, were released to the general public just yesterday!)
Even if you aren't interested in gaming, this should be a good intro to the mechanics of building a custom distro.

Cheers, Brian
