Hey what do you think will happen to the list archive and Rubins email client when I install GPG in all my email clients and start signing them :) Will it sprout wings or just catch fire lol :) Rubin hope you can read this, and I'm not trying to start a flame war but I can't resist messing with you on this one. These problems were solved over a decade ago. Please get with the times, stop being a lone wolf programmer who rejects parts of standards. The GPL is all about community so why not work with the community written code. As you very well know if the community code doesn't do every thing you want you can always hack it, and even better if you share your hacks with others; but i'm begging you seriously please stop rejecting things in RFC's, and DTMF standards docs. By the way the archive page on the site is also Rubins own Perl code.

I was just harping on Rubin. He has a habit of disabling things included and allowable in the standards for email. The last time it was because he purposely hacked his txt base email client so it wouldn't parse the html in the email and as a result was seeing the raw unformatted HTML produced by my last cell phone. Now he is complaining about base64 encoding which is part of the basic email standard since the inception of attaching files feature. So I'm wondering how he hacked his email client now.

Oh, that was HTML mail? Fortunately:
$ grep html .mailcap text/html; /usr/bin/w3m -T text/html '%s'; needsterminal; description=HTML Text; nametemplate=%s.html $
I see no HTML mail here. It got auto-upgraded to ASCII. Brilliant!
