Fundraising Opportunities for Non-Profit Organizations - ARAMARK at Citi
Field
Knock your organization's fundraising goals out of the park in 2015!
Aramark at Citi Field is seeking Non-Profit Organizations (NPO's) who
would be interested in raising funds by working in our concession stands
for a percentage of the sales. If you have 501(c) status or can become
501(c) registered, you are eligible to join.
Across the nation, more and more NPO's are turning to large sporting
venues as their major - and sometimes only - source of revenue. Aramark,
a world leader in professional services dedicated to excellence, is
proud to expand this program at Citi Field. We're excited about
providing this opportunity to the tri-state area's Non-Profit Organizations.
You supply the manpower, we supply the rest- no hassles of bake sales or
car washes! This program is open to student groups, fraternities,
sororities, sports teams, religious groups, veterans groups, schools,
churches, community organizations …the list is endless.
Listed below are the answers to a few of our most commonly asked
questions – this information will give you an overview of our program
and what you need to know to get your organization involved for the 2015
season.
What does my group need to get started?
Committed, service oriented volunteers who are at least 18 years of age.
Certification that the organization is a non-profit, tax exempt
organization as defined in Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
The program requires a *15-EVENT MINIUMUM COMMITMENT* for the 2015
season - with an emphasis on weekends - that will be communicated in
advance.
A designated group leader, this person will be in charge of the assigned
location from open to close.
Do you provide training?
Yes, all volunteers must attend Aramark's orientation/training classes,
which include proper service of alcohol as well as how to operate the
concession stand and equipment.
What are the report times for each event?
Volunteers must begin to report approximately 2 hours before the event
begins. The length of the event varies, but most volunteers should be
finished by one hour after the event concludes.
