Because the first part of the article discussed the number of compaines that were pure Open Source and why they made money, and that premise i disagreed with: ie that Red Hat was unique in that is was the sole free software business to make money: As oposed to IBM, SUSE and even Google?)
The key to making money with free Software and ALL software is the ole Service Contract. If your not updating, upgrade and providing service for clients, your fucked, regardless if the software is Free or not. So I have a difference of opinion with his starting proposition, although I agreed with much of it.
