Information doesn't want to be free...but people do.
We live in a world made of networked computers, but still our lawmakers
treat the Internet as though it was a better video on demand system or a
pornography distribution system or a jihadi recruiting system—instead of
the nervous system of the 21st century.
How can libraries and activists strike alliances to demand that information
policy be afforded the gravitas it's due? And how can creators—who, after
all, should always be on the side of free expression, privacy and
freedom—be recruited to the fight?
Admission is free, but an RSVP is required.
