The thinbg about Gophernet was that it had this outstanding library of
resources, largely university based. You could find wonderful
published and unpublished academic works, arcticles, books et al.
It was like a dream.
LIU had two great gopher sites, and they are gone.
Do you remember when you went to the internet to learn something rather
than to be entertained? Yes - there was such an internet!
